Built in 1772, this home at 106 Tradd Street in Charleston, South Carolina was the home of Colonel John Stuart. Stuart was the king's Superintendent of Indian Affairs in the South and did much to improve relations with various Native American tribes, particularly the Cherokee Nation between the Seven Years' War and the American Revolutionary War.
