The Kuwait Towers
The three Kuwait Towers have risen above the Kuwait skyline since March 1, 1979. The largest tower, reaching 187m above sea level, contains restaurants and a viewing plaza. The second tower holds a water supply in its spherical tank. The third (directly in front of the second in this picture) is an electrical tower and has no globe. In March 2016, the tallest tower reopened to accomodate visitors after being closed four years for maintenance.
